Carolina Surgery & Cancer Center performs vascular surgery to care for patients with vascular or circulatory problems, particularly those problems that require surgical treatment. These may include:

Carolina Surgery & Cancer Center also performs vascular lab interpretations for arterial and venous disorders. We can also treat a wide variety of problems nonsurgically, depending on the individual patient's needs (some can be helped nonsurgically, some cannont) these include:
Mesenteric arterial disease - We treat disorders of circulation to the gut.
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) - Blockages in the circulation to the arms or legs due to atherosclerosis or other diseases, which may threaten the limbs
Cerebrovascular disease - Blockages in the arteries to the brain that may increase the risk of stroke
Deep venous thromboisis (DVT) - Blood clots in the veins that could migrate to the lungs.
Aortic aneurysm - We treat the ballooning of the major artery that can cause fatal rupture
